Solid-sided commercial vehicles can carry anything from simple spot-colour identification to detailed full-colour fleet liveries. Sapphire Graphics designs, produces and installs graphics for rigid box bodies, box van trailers, double-deck box trailers and LCVs.
Graphics can be applied to smooth-sided materials including GRP, painted steel, painted aluminium and PPC aluminium.
Cut-vinyl graphics
Solid-colour vinyl is plotter cut into lettering, logos and other shapes before application to the vehicle surface. It is well suited to clean designs using defined brand colours.
Printed and contour-cut vinyl
Complex or full-colour artwork can be printed onto vinyl and applied directly, or passed through the plotter to create accurately cut shapes. This allows detailed graphics to be combined with the flexibility of applied vinyl.
Artwork and fleet reprographics
We can develop new livery artwork or work from existing customer artwork and brand guidelines. Existing graphics, imagery and branding can also be reproduced for additional or replacement vehicles, with individual elements resized or repositioned where necessary to suit different vehicle types and dimensions.
For fleet applications, this allows approved graphics to be reused while adapting the layout to suit different vehicles within the fleet.
Colour matching and approval
Pantone and RAL colour matching is available where required. Printed proofs are used as part of the approval process, allowing the customer to approve the graphics before production proceeds.
Installation and refurbishment
Graphics are generally installed at Sapphire Graphics premises. Remote installation is also available using Sapphire installation teams where required.
Existing decals can also be removed as part of a vehicle refurbishment before replacement graphics are applied.
Supplying artwork for box van graphics
Existing artwork can be supplied in any format. Vehicle types and dimensions should also be provided where appropriate so that artwork can be sized and positioned for the intended vehicle.
